Used this program quite a bit back in the Windows 98 days...loved it. After I upgraded my rig to XP, this program wouldn't install properly. Purchased the newer version of Music Write that did work in XP, but unfortunately it had been "new and improved." They claimed that the newer version was easier to use, which in reality translated into their having removed half of the features that had previously made the program so versatile.
After 14 years of going without, I've just this week decided to install Windows 98 on a separate hard drive and get the old Music Write Plus program going again. SO glad to have it back!

I enjoy playing my drum set, but I can't keep away from my electric guitars and keyboard. I purchased a keyboard sound card and USB devices to attach the keyboard to the computer, brand new it didn't work. So I went after a guitar port to add my electric guitars to the computer, this too didn't work. What am I doing wrong, something I never tryed was the midi port.
